• Forgotten places of Tunisia - Wild Bou Hedma

Watch our short documentary about the Bou Hedma Nationalpark! in June 2016 we released this short film "Forgotten places of Tunisia - Wild Bou Hedma" . It is an appeal to save this unique wild habitat and endangered species. The Bou Hedma NP has never enjoyed a fraction of the support it deserves from government. It has always been treated as an afterthought, falling victim to the misguided philosophy that it should cost very little to maintain a mountain range, an acacia savannah or threatened native wildlife species. Please share this video and help to save one of tunisia's last wild and exceptional habitats. The park is not going to survive unless we can convince more people of it's value. I think we need to make a better case that Bou Hedma NP needs more resources, more love, more atte...

Over fifteen thousand wild birds died over the last 2 months in Ichkeul Park and Sijoumi lake, 2 regions popular for migratory birds. The phenomena was first discovered by local hunters and residents in the area and eventually got the attention of a team from the Tunis Veterinary research institute. Field work and observations, sampling, several tests, and autopsies eventuqlly discovered an ecological explanation for the phenomenon. According to Dr Ben Hmida, the Hot weather and lack of rain throughout September were ideal conditions for a Bacteria, called Clostridium Botulinum, to develop and produce a toxin. This bacteria is present around decomposing bodies and produces a deadly toxin which ended in birds' food supply, including worms. Then rain came to wash out the area a...

While the image is indeed real, I think the size of the giant snake could have been exaggerated due to the camera angle Nevertheless, this snake is still huge, but where did it come from? The markings on it's skin looks similar to that of a reticulated python native to Southeast Asia. After playing around with a little Google translate, the mystery was finally solved. Shady areas and seating allow visitors to take their time out of the sun and appreciate the animals and the picturesque views that the park present. There are over 400 animals and more than 60 species living in Friguia all free to move in large enclosures. At every animal type there is a detailed board with information of the animal in both English and Arabic. Keeping small change with you is handy as for a dinar or two, you can get the keepers to get some close ups of the animals. People need to be aware of the need to respect animals.” Rest in peace, little croc. **INFORMATION & MEDIA SOURCES** https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/mar/01/crocodile-stoned-to-death-tunisia-zoo http://www.foxnews.com/science/2017/03/02/crocodile-stoned-to-death-in-horrific-attack-at-tunisian-zoo.html http://www.ibtimes.com/crocodile-killed-tunisia-after-zoo-visitors-stone-reptile-death-officials-call-attack-2500434 ************************************************************* Subscribe to my YOUTUBE channel for weekly videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCE37328iVnqSj1OCrgrYd8w ******************************************************* Stay Wild. ************************************************************ CONNECT ON SOCIAL MEDIA Website/Blog: www.emzotic.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/emzoticofficial/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/emzoticofficial Snapchat: emzoticofficial Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/emzotic/ This is not a sponsored video.

Тунисские танцы песни на шоу зулусов в зоопарке Фригия. Хаммамет Тунис. Tunisian dance songs on the show at the Friguia Animal Park, Bouficha Tunisia. This is Tunisia's only wildlife park and is situated between Hammamet and Sousse. After spending almost three hours going round the park, we were treated to show of traditional music from Tunisia and the South of Africa as well as and dances by the Shaka Troup and North African dances. All of this was done whilst we were being served Tunisian cuisine under a large thatched African hut. This park has been open to the public since November 2000 and they state, "the purpose of the park is to preserve the species by looking after the development of the most threatened ones". This is not a safari park, but is a larger and more open type of zoo than those you would usually find in the city. You are still able to get up close to some of the animals whilst viewing them in a natural environment. The park of 36 hectares has been well laid out. There are ample rest stops, snack bars and souvenir shops in all the right places. Use that change too for a short camel, donkey or pony ride - great for the kids and adults alike!تظهر الزولو في حديقة الحيوان Friguia. الحمامات تونس. Zoulous montrent à la Friguia parc animalier. Then rain came to wash out the area and stopped the toxin's release by the bacteria, which led to a decrease of the deaths to 10 per week. Nature regulated itself and was able readjust, however, in other cases it fails to so, and human intervention becomes necessary.

Giant 700 pound snake caught in lake in Proctor, North Carolina. The giant man eating python was measured at 98 feet long. Police were contacted to see if there have been any recently filed missing person reports as a snake this big could have surely eaten a human. This giant snake is massive and just gorgeous, but it didn't take long to find out that the STORY behind it... was fake, just another hoax. This giant python came from Indonesia and after some rough translating, it turns out that it was discovered this last Thanksgiving near the village of Belinyu City. It was found by accident by a group of construction workers who severely injured the reptile while knocking down a large dead tree in which the python was sleeping inside of. The workers put the dying snake out of it's misery and buried it. It's sad to see such an incredible animal killed, especially one that could have been a new world record size. I wish there were more pictures so we could get a better idea of just how large it was. I really enjoyed learning about this amazing snake, if you guys have any cool wildlife stories or interesting animals that you think I might enjoy, tell me about it on Facebook Let's Connect -- http://www.facebook.com/epicadamwildlife -- http://gplus.to/epicwildlife -- http://www.twitter.com/epicwildlife -- http://www.pinterest.com/epicwildlife -- http://www.epicadamwildlife.com Other Epic Wildlife Snake Videos. -- Diver Discovers Giant Anaconda http://youtu.be/yfdCiwzhNN0 -- Man Eaten by Giant Snake http://goo.gl/9jnuA -- Titanoboa Prehistoric Snake http://youtu.be/y-beIb6rUTA -- World's Deadliest Snake http://youtu.be/LFu1u6Ca2EQ Royalty Free Music & Sound www.freesfx.co.uk "East of Tunisia" by Kevin McLeod
